Principal Business Analyst (Ref: ULA0001R )
Job Requirements:
- To be successful in this role you will require a qualification in Finance/Accounting or similar. Exposure to both surface and underground mining operations will be advantageous.
- You will be able to demonstrate a strong focus on safety, as well as the ability to develop relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders and willingness to work in a developing country with a team from diverse cultural and language backgrounds.

Job Description and Responsibilities:
- Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the purpose of this role is to develop business models, perform quantitative and strategic analysis and provide advice to support major investment decisions and proposals.
- This role will initially be based in the Ivanhoe Corporate Office, Vancouver, Canada for a 12-18 month period, however will then transition to Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia for 18 months to recruit and train a team of Mongolian nationals with the intent of this team managing the function long term.
- Your ability to understand the impact of taxation on economic modeling will determine your success in this role. Your exceptional analytical, presentation and communication skills, will assist you in participating in complex discussions with key personnel.
