Subsea/Pipeline Engineer
Qualification:
- Have 7 years experience in engineering / project management related experience in the offshore oil and gas industry.
- Familiar with international design codes for pipelines, flexibles and subsea developments.
- Bachelor Degree S1 in Engineering
- Good working knowledge of pipeline hydraulics, mechanical design, control and protection systems.
- A thorough understanding of subsea architecture and components used (including specification of flowlines, inhibitor injection systems, flexible pipes, umbilical design (electro-hydraulic and fibre optic), and well control systems
- An understanding of the materials and corrosion issues associated with subsea developments.
- The incumbent will be working primarily on Premier Oil Naga Pelikan project.
Job Description and Responsibilities:
- To provide support related to subsea pipeline engineering which include pipeline, riser, flexible, control umbilical and subsea structure for development of a specific Project during conceptual, detail and construction phase.
- Review and approval of design engineering documents and drawings produced by FEED/EPCI Contractors as part of ongoing development projects.
- Review and approval of construction procedures developed by Contractors.
- Ensure all Contractors subsea pipeline engineering and related documentation is produced in a timely fashion and in accordance with the Contract and specification.
- Responsible for working within the provisions and guidelines of QHSE Assurance system of Premier Oil.
- To work closely with other multi discipline engineering during execution of the work
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure ITB bid documents and the Basis of Design represent the project’s technical and operating needs from a subsea pipeline engineering perspective.
- Provide subsea pipeline engineering support through the FEED/EPCI contract execution.
- Liaise with BPMIGAS, MIGAS and other Government authority during the preparation and execution of the work.
