DRAINAGE
Qualification & Experience:
- Bachelor Degree S1 in Water Resources Engineering with Min GPA 3.00
- Have Design experience in Drainage Engineering in infrastructure projects: minings, roads and railways with minimum experience of 10 years
- Excellent communication in English; Min.Toefl 500
- Excellent analytical skills with strong attention to details and strong integrity
Responsibilities:
- Plans, designs, and coordinates construction of drainage systems in irrigation district, based on knowledge of soils, slope of land, and availability and economic use of existing drainage canals
- Studies data and sketches scale drawing of tile and open ditch drains for area, using triangles, scales, dividers, and other drawing instruments
- Indicates dept, spacing, and size of tiling for crop area leading to district drainage canals
- Determines need for securing easements and right of way deeds for district drainage structures.
- Interprets hydraulic analyses and develops new drainage systems or modifications to existing systems.
HYDROLOGIST
Qualification & Experience:
- Bachelor Degree S1 in Water Resources Engineering with Min GPA 3.00
- Design experience in Hydrological Engineering in infrastructure projects: minings, roads and railways with minimum experience of 10 years
- Excellent communication in English; Min.Toefl 500
- Excellent analytical skills with strong attention to details and strong integrity
Responsibilities:
- Analyzing the effect of environmental changes on water flow
- Applying hydrological and statistical techniques of water resource modeling and analysis
- Estimating water yields, taking into account the utilization of water in a specific natural drainage area
- Planning responses to specific weather conditions, such as droughts and floods, and assessing the impacts or such events on water catchments and supplies
- Undertaking hydrological modeling to allow the development of flood forecasting and drought management strategy
- Performs hydrologic and hydraulic calculations to estimate peak flows at points of interest, identifies all drainage way crossings and drainage basins, and designs improvements as required
