Qualification & Experience:
- Bachelor Degree S1 in Engineering, Business & Legal
- Experience (s) 10 years in Gas Industry
- Exhibit superior knowledge of the particular competency in performing various related task. Work activities are consistently executed with exemplary standard of quality
Job Description and Responsibilities:
- Proactive involvement in all aspects of contracts administration from the planning phase, through the bidding phase, execution and close-out associated with major offshore development projects.The incumbent will have a lead role in the overall process and the timely execution of the work.
- Ensure that Contracts function is performed efficiently and cost effectively
- Ensure that the Contract business is conducted ethically and in line with good business practice
- Proactively interact with the project team to ensure that a good working knowledge of prevailing activities and events is maintained
Key Activities :
- Contribute to the efficient administration of the Contracts function
- Participation in the planning and setting of strategies for new contracts.
- Develop or contribute to the development of procedures, work instructions, etc., for the Contracts function
- Preparation of front-end documentation including tender plans, adverts and prequalification documents
- Produce and coordinate input to the development of high quality contracts
- Administer the prequalification process including the efficient handling of clarifications and evaluation of responses
- Plan and administer the bid process for all contracts including preparation of bid documentation, bid evaluation criteria and associated documentation. Manage the clarification and evaluation phases.
- Participate in negotiations with bidders
- Preparation and presentation of recommendations to management and BP Migas.
- Post contract award administration including the administration of change orders, payment control, and eventual close-out.
- Manage site contract administrators (if required)
- Organize contract files in an orderly and tidy manner such that a clear audit trail is maintained at all times.
- Key member of the Project Controls Group
- Interface with Project Services for:Contract budget, actual and forecast cost of work performed Invoices, forecast cash flow, Actual and forecast progress of the Work
