DRILLING SUPERVISOR
Qualification & Experience:
- Having 10 year of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
- Preferably Supervisor / Coordinators specializing in Engineering - Oil/Gas or equivalent.
- Min Diploma, Engineering (Mechanical), Engineering (Others), Engineering (Petroleum/Oil/Gas) or equivalent.
- Full-Time position(s) available.
Job Description and Responsibilities:
- Have supervised the execution of wells having a throw to TVD Ratio of 3:1 or greater.
- Have supervised wells having measured depths of greater than 20,000 ft.
- Knowledge of ERD completion designs.
- Intimate knowledge of ERD-related service companies and ERD equipment and tools (top drive limits, high-torque drill pipe and casing, friction reduction tools centralizes, liner hangers, mud lubricants, cementing).
ISLAND DRILLING ERD ENGINEER
Qualification & Experience:
- Having 7 years drilling experience and knowledge of ERD principles ;,and fundamentals
- Degree in relevant Engineering discipline such as Petroleum or Mechanical
- Computing skills including MS office
- Knowledge of Drilling Information Management System (DIMS)
- Safety Training
- Drilling Engineering School
- ERD drilling school (K&M or Equivalent)
- Skills including:
- Casing design
- Fundamental in casing flotation technique
- Drilling Fluids Technology (Water base and Oil base)
- Cementing Technology
- Wellbore stability for ERD Drilling
- Pore Pressure and Fracture Gradient Technology
- Drill String Design / Torque and Drag modeling for ERD wells
- ERD/ Directional Drilling
- Bit Designs and Hydraulics
- Good understanding of Drill string vibrations and mitigations
- Understanding of key ROP limiters in ERD wells
- Hole Cleaning and ECD behavior in ERD Wells
- Drilling problem solving (Lost returns, Stuck Pipe, Hole Instability)
- Well Control
- Blowout prevention and equipment testing
- Basic open Hole and Cased Hole Logging
- Risk Assessment
- Fundamental Geology
- Fundamental Reservoir Engineer
- Technical Writing
