ELECTRICAL ENGINEER ( Jakarta, 12 months)
Qualification & Experience:
- Have 10+ years’ experience in refinery project, petrochemical, and gas processing/ LNG
- Certified in electrical power system/power generation
- Has Experience as Lead Electrical Engineer
- Expertise in the Electrical engineering with specific in design and planning for Electrical Power Generating System, Power System Analysis (ETAP Software Program) System, Power
- Bachelor of Electrical Engineering
- Has experience to developed Electrical design basis , conceptual design of underground facilities and standard drawings and controlled all the Electrical design activities through the project execution.
- Has Experience in Electrical Distribution System including an integrated electrical power management system.
- Has an excellent knowledge of current internationally recognized Codes and Standards such as,
- International Electrotechnical Commission ( IEC)
- American National standards Institute (ANSI),
- American Petroleum Institute (API),
- National Electrical Manufacturers Association (NEMA),
- National Fire Protection association (NFPA)
- National Electric Code (NEC, NFPA 70),
- Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers (IEEE)
- It has been the principal engineer responsible for the design, analysis and review for Electrical systems. in gas processing plants and utility facilities
- Has a proven ability to perform Electrical engineering include study, calculation in Electrical System with a high level of quality.
- Working knowledge in the use of computer programs (latest electrical engineering software i.e ETAP) applicable to such designs
- Had maintained effective relationship with COMPANY and CONTRACTOR and good coordination work to completed engineering activities in accordance with schedule requirements.
- Has a good medical record
- Fluent in Communication and writing in English
PLANNING ENGINEER – ISBL ( Jakarta 6 months and Balikpapan 24 months)
Qualification & Experience:
- 10 (ten) years applicable experience in the control of major oil and gas production facilities projects.
- Has a working knowledge of applicable industry practices
- Has been principal engineer responsible for the control of similar projects
- Has experienced in the use of computer programs applicable to the control of Resources and Activity duration on construction projects
- Bachelor of Engineering degree or a Construction Management Degree
- Worked As Planning Engineer for the last 5 years in oil and gas and petrochemical project (i.e. refinery project, petrochemical, and gas processing).
- Able to determine 3 (three) critical path for each plant and overall project (first, second and third critical path) and always be controlled and discuss to owner if any bias indications.
- Has an experience to analyze potential progress behind due to material delay, lack of manpower or low performance and predict impact to end of project schedule and propose suggestion to avoid project schedule delay.
- Has ability to prepare and monitor a CPM schedule for the project to identify the resources and time required completing the project.
- Has excellent capability to perform sensitivity analysis on the CPM schedule to determine potential areas of slippage and corrective action to be taken.
- Has a good medical record
- Fluent in Communication and writing in English
PROCESS ENGINEER UTILITIES ( Jakarta 6 months)
Qualification & Experience:
- Expert as Process Engineer in Utilities plant in refinery (i.e. boiler, steam-turbine generator, SWRO, BWRO etc.)
- Expert in engineering design for major Process Plant
- Expert as Lead Process Engineer
- Expert of current internationally recognized Codes and Standards such as, American Petroleum Institute (API), American National Standards Institute (ANSI), Instrument Society of American (ISA), American Society of Testing Material (ASTM), American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME)
- Bachelor of Science degree in Process Engineering
- < 55 (fifty-five) years old
- Have 7+ (seven) years’ experience oil and gas and petrochemical project (i.e. refinery project, petrochemical, and gas processing/ LNG).
- Has been the principal engineer responsible for the design, analysis and review for Process systems and Specification in refinery
- Has a proven ability to perform Process engineering include study, calculation in Process System with a high level of quality.
- Working knowledge in the use of computer programs (latest process simulation software i.e HYSYS/Pro II/Flare Net) applicable to such designs
- Had maintained effective relationship with COMPANY and Contractor and good coordination work to completed engineering activities in accordance with schedule requirements.
- Has a good medical record
- Fluent in Communication and writing in English
FIELD SERVICE ENGINEER – MANIFOLD (Batam, 6 months)
Qualification & Experience:
- Expertise in Manifold, Connections & Subsea Tie Ins
- Min. 5 years in Offshore environment
- Mechanical Engineering
- The initial scope is onshore, but they may be requested to stay on for offshore installations in 2021
- Safe and Compliant performance on all matters and or targets required by internal and external stakeholders regarding the Environment, Health and Safety (EHS)
- Active participation in all safety related initiatives on/offshore
- Involvement in Subsea Manifold and Connection systems at manufacture and testing stages, e.g. Extended Factory Acceptance, Site Integration Testing and Site Receive Tests
- Installation and Maintenance of Connection systems and associated equipment involving but not limited to;
- Hydraulic stroking mechanisms, Hydraulic Pumping Units, Mechanical structures etc.
- Resolution of technical problems both on/offshore and proactive involvement in product improvement
- Work closely with Project and Engineering teams to meet deadlines set
TESTING ENGINEER ( Batam; 6 months)
Qualification & Experience:
- High School diploma. University Degree Preferred
- Ten years of subsea experience with five years’ experience with the fabrication/testing of subsea structures, including manifolds, PLETS, and other subsea equipment
- Can read and interpret construction drawings
- Knowledge about procedures of onshore testing in the structural area
- You must be able to work in Indonesia to qualify for this position legally.
- Good coordination & interface capabilities
- Familiar with oil and gas industry testing practices, safety standards and thoroughly familiar with industry safe work practices
- Provides “hands-on” site leadership and supervision to the Contractor to ensure that all SIT Testing activities are executed efficiently and to schedule.
- Ensures all safety regulations are implemented and complied with at the site by Chevron personnel
- Support, as required, incident and near-miss root cause analysis and closure of follow-up items
- Enforces approved engineering/quality work procedures/plans and ensures adherence to documents, drawings, and specifications.
- Reviews and resolves field ambiguities or discrepancies among codes, specification, and IFC drawings interpretation, elevating any significant deviations or changes to the Package Engineers for appropriate review
- Works closely with the Package Engineers for technical guidance and support
OFFSHORE PIPELINE ENGINEER (Jakarta, On-Call Basis 2 months )
Qualification & Experience:
- 3 - 8 years’ experience in design and engineering for oil & gas projects (upstream and downstream)
- Have experiences as Subsea pipeline engineer for subsea engineering /EPC projects
- Have experience in the design of offshore pipelines
- Have an ability to perform subsea Pipeline engineering include design, study, calculation in Pipeline System
- Have experience in performing offshore pipeline design analysis utilizing recognized offshore pipeline software under minimum guidance
- Have a good knowledge of current internationally recognized Codes and Standards (i.e. API, ANSI, ASME, AWE, NACE, ASTM, DNV)
- Min University degree majoring in Mechanical Engineering
- Able to handle work under minimum guidance of the assigned areas/scope
- Able to lead a small team of drafters
- Able to perform interdisciplinary works
- Able to cope with pressure
- Have good team working
FIELD ENGINEER SINGLE POINT MOORING (Balikpapan/Lawe-Lawe, 24 months)
Qualification & Experience:
- Willing to work in Balikpapan no rotation
- Expertise as SPM / Naval Architect Supervisor especially construction of the of entire offshore facility of SPM and mooring, specifications, performing mooring and SPM buoy design analysis, reviewing and implementing government regulations and industry codes.
- Expertise of the applicable codes and standards, and working knowledge of the applicable software to the SPM & Mooring design.
- Expertise for the design, analysis and review for Pipeline System in gas processing plants and utility facilities
- Bachelor of Naval Engineering
- 7+ years’ experience refinery project, petrochemical, and gas processing/ LNG.
- Expertise of the following Offshore Projects: Offshore platform installation, SPM installation, PLEM installation, Subsea Pipeline installation (from barge), Subsea Piling, Offshore Trenching
- More on “Field or Site” works experiences but still need have design and engineering works experiences as well.
FIELD QUANTITY SURVEYOR (Balikpapan/Lawe-Lawe, 24 months - 4 personnel)
Qualification & Experience:
- 3+ year experiences in Construction Stage
- Responsible, self-motivated and enthusiastic
- Willing to work in Balikpapan no rotation
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Control Systems Engineering
- Good interpersonal and teamwork skills
- Good communication and written skills in English
- Able to read Construction Drawing
- Knowledge in MS Office Applications (Word, Excel & PowerPoint)
- Preferable from Balikpapan Area and nearby
- Verify Bill of Quantities including Quantity take‐off refer to Construction Drawing
- Verify progress claims submitted by subcontractors/suppliers and prepare payment responses/certificates.
- Liaise with Contractor’s QS on progress payments and variation orders.
- Measurement, Taking Off of Quantities, familiar with Bill of Quantities, etc.
- Identify additional and subtraction of quantities
- Assist Project Reporting Coordinator in monitoring physical progress
- Attend Site Meetings and take charge of all clients' request / feedback
FIELD SERVICE ENGINEER – COMPRESSOR INSTALLATION (Batam, 3 months)
Qualification & Experience:
- Mechanical Engineering
- Mech Aero Gas Turbine FSE, experienced with LM2500 installation activities.
- Renewal 60 days ON 14 days OFF quarantine
- Someone that has experience with NP Compressor installation is preferable

Qualification & Experience:
- Bachelor Degree
- 5+ years as Document Controller
- Engineering technical background
- Basic Construction Management
