IT Systems Engineer, requirement :
- Good experience in the IT field and Linux administration 5 years
- Preferably software development background
- Preferably Bachelor degree in IT or related field
- No shift work, but important flexibility and commitment is required
- A fast-learner and able to exchange / communicate on technical matters
- Excellent ability to write and communicate both in English and Bahasa Indonesia
- To meet strict deadlines in an analytical way
- Customer-focused attitude is expected
- Occasional travel for training or support in the Asia Pacific Region
Responsibilities:
- The main duty is the daily technical management of the LINUX/MS-Windows based IT systems, which includes:
- System administration: Operating systems installation, troubleshooting, monitoring, systems tools installation, design. This can involve late or 24/7 work when required
- Hardware, system & application software administration of the Linux-based cluster. Monitoring and improvement of LAN connectivity,
- Storage systems management: RAID5 hardware & software installation, administration
- Network monitoring and improvement: essentially Local Area Network
- Indoors processing software debugging, upgrades, installation
- Users support, application software troubleshooting, support for administrative staff (Microsoft products, backup systems etc)
- Tape drives support, operators (24/7) technical support
- Active participation to the cross-training and expertise improvement of the IT team
- Involvement in facilities management and HSE activities
