Instrumentation Inspector (Ref: EP0912711) (Singapore), requirements:
- Good experience as an instrumentation inspector representing the Company during marine related new construction.
- Good previous experience in working as a member of a multi discipline multinational site team
- Timely delivery of the completed DLB ready for operations.
- To monitor and control the quality of the onsite instrumentation works including the installation and integration of the new instrumentation, controls and instrument cabling To ensure that the instrumentation work is carried out in accordance with the contract requirements and that the standard of workmanship and the quality of the product is to the contract and code requirements.
Responsibilities:
- To work with the Company’s Instrument Engineer to ensure that the instrumentation construction work is carried out in accordance with the contract requirements and that the standard of workmanship and the quality of the work is to the company and code requirements.
- Monitor the implementation of the approved quality plan.
- Ensure that the work is carried out in accordance with the requirements of the subcontractors approved quality manual.
- Verify that all inspections are carried out by qualified personnel and that records are maintained.
- Verify the suitability and acceptance of al instrumentation materials.
- Ensure that competent and certified tradesmen are used to carry out the instrumentation work.
- Inspect the instrumentation work cable and tray installation, cable pulling, glanding and termination to ensure compliance with contract and code requirements.
- Monitor the subcontractor during testing activities to ensure compliance with the agreed testing procedures.
- Ensure the production of and the acceptance of the necessary instrumentation documentation for inclusion in the final documentation package.
